Painting Sunflowers

One day
a little green shoot appeared
from the warm brown soil
and it grew and grew
until it was so big
a beautiful golden flower
opened wide
to greet the sun.........
and a little bee came to visit.......buzzzz

This is what we found on our summer adventure,
golden daisies the children were so excited,
then we heard and saw something........



Bees everywhere
going from flower to flower,
it was so beautiful for the children to see this in nature
as we had been making flowers and bees all week......

Painting Strawberries

This is the brown earth
little green shoots slowly appeared
they grew and grew
and then leaves came everywhere
and lots of red strawberries
then a little visitor came running along
it was a mouse......
and he was so hungry
he saw the strawberries
and started eating
the little mouse was very happy
and the sun
came out
across the blue sky.........

and rubbed the back of strawberry leaves
from our garden
on paper with beeswax crayons.

Making Juicy Grapes

We draw some grapes

We cut them out






We have juicy grapes to hang from our summer vine.
We rubbed the back of grape leaves
with our beeswax crayons
the children were very excited.............
