Paper bag Owls


Plain paper bags here we go mmmmmmmm......



We stuff them with scrunched newspaper
fold over the top of the bag
add bits of cardboard we cut out into designs

I really wanted to have a real rabbit
but the thought of three dogs and a bunny didn`t sit well
somehow I know a chase would be sure to follow......
so this dear bunny found its way into our home and hearts
it moves and makes a cute squeaking noise

and were very excited when they filled their rabbit gift baskets
with these yummies .............................................

We took some lengths of wool

Wet felted surprise Easter Eggs

We chose beautiful colours from our wool
rolled them round the plastic eggs using our hands


Held them closed in our hands and dunked them
in hot soapy water (the fun part)...............
softly squeezed the water out and rolled them in our hands
then put them into stockings and rolled more....and more......
removed from stockings
then rolled them between bubble wrap(fun again look at this pop)
rinsed them in cold water and put them to spin in washing machine
and then put them out in the ~~sunlight~~

We folded coloured cardboard into baskets


We made a Easter bunny pattern
and traced around on cardboard and added cotton balls for tails

that came from our creativity as we made them........

Easter Egg Garden Gift of New Life

We glued newspaper strips on a balloon half way up
4 layers thick and dried over night
then cut raw edges
and painted with poster paints

Then we sieved some dirt
and filled our egg garden

Carefully the children planted wheat seeds



............ Easter egg garden..........New Life is coming..............



Easter Lillies

How do we make easter lillies from hands?????


Careful cutting out of hand prints
then we roll them round and tape
curl down fingers over pencils
add some pipe cleaners and ...................................

Special Surprise Eggs

We cut up newspaper and applied strips with glue
to balloons in shapes of eggs


Blowing up balloon with these great balloon pumps

Excitement building as eggs are taking shape
drying outside overnight

We glued on a final layer with tissue paper
coated with pva kids glue
when dry we painted dabs of gold paint all over

.................beautiful eggs we created..............
the children were so excited!!!!!

these are going to be our easter gifts to family



Now we have to fill them with treasures.............
