Passing of a loved one

Beloved Sparky
For you from our hearts
we painted these blessing stones





We have had our 19yrold cat being in our playroom
He became in need of shelter inside,
and to be close to us all the time.....................

We all cared for him,
the children learnt tolerance
as sparky wanted to be with them and would be in their way of playing
so they made room and became patient with him........

Many cuddles and pats..........................

Then sparky took a rapid turn for the worse......
then he died..........
we all grieved and cried....saying goodbye......

we returned his body to mother earth
with an abundance of flowers and leaves
and offered humble blessings of water
and handfuls of dirt
as we created his resting place next to his sister....

O sparky we are going to missyou
you meant alot to us all
thankyou for being you
and blessing us all with your special ways......

This has been a hard and beautiful lesson
about how important it is to love and care......
to all who share our lives........and share our days...

(life will never be the same without you greeting me each morning)

.........a beautiful soul who journeyed with me for so long..........

You can create many different designs
flat and also 3dimensional.
the pieces are in vibrant rainbow colours.



Child engineer with blocks

My children play and create all sorts of things from blocks of wood.
I have cut various lengths from pine wood and sanded them smooth.
They are used alot........................




Marble Run

Construction with the marble run pieces
can make all sorts of interesting designs
the marbles go through all sorts of things
and round ,and round ,and round..................
can you follow the marble and see where it comes out...................


Wooden train tracks

How many different designs can be created
many,many hours of playing
and learning to build and play together.
choo,choo......here comes the train...............

Summer Making

Summer bees a buzzing
We take some brown magic wool
rub it round and round
in our hands................

We take some yellow thread
and wind it round and round

Then we cut out
and add tissue paper wings

Bees a buzzzzing
everywhere buzz a buzzing buzz
sting sting stings everywhere......
caution beware children love stinging with their beess.....

And then we had to make
some bigger flying bees..........

We take some cardboard
and cut............



We glue yellow
stripes for our bees.....

Then glue on our paper wings
o no more buzzz, buzz a buziing
and lots of stings..........
visiting flowers everywhere collecting pollen........





King Sun and the sunshine fairies

and don`t forget about the sunshine fairies.........

The children loved making them and it is a fun way for them to
learn about a Year.
We also gave one to their nanna as a gift...............

The Hot days of summer are here!!!!!!!
and my daughter simply says
"I like summer I can go in water"

Summer Nature Altar

Summertime has come to the Altar
it is time to go swimming with the mermaides
and walk along the beach collecting seashells,rocks and driftwood.
